These terms and conditions apply to all purchases of products on www.yumecph.com
Ordering and payment
www.yumecph.com is open 24 hours a day – 7 days a week.
YUME CPH accepts payment with the following credit/debit cards:
- American Express
- MasterCard Debit
We also accept payment via PayPal.
Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon dispatch of your order by YUME CPH. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to YUME CPH, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
All amounts are in your chosen currency (DKK, EUR or USD) and are including taxes.
To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple, and secure, YUME CPH uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Furthermore, we take reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.
Acceptance of your order
Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it.
Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and YUME CPH will be completed when we email you to confirm the goods have been dispatched.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn.
We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold, removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site, refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
Yume CPH ship all parcels with Post Nord, GLS, FedEx or UPS.
We offer free shipping on orders above 100 EUR to a number of European countries. Please see the table below or find your shipping cost at checkout.

Orders completed before 1pm are shipped same day for products where we are stockits.
YUME CPH offer worldwide delivery. We use insured parcel service and you receive a track and trace number, when we ship the order.
Delivery times within EU are typically 2-5 business days, and 3-6 days outside EU.
Non-EU customers are not subjected VAT. The amount will be deducted at checkout.
- We reserve the right to cancel an order if freight costs to remote areas exceed a certain size.
- Heavy furniture might also be added extra freight cost in some countries.
- Non EU customers. Please note that local charges (customs, VAT etc.) may be added to your order, depending on region and local custom duties. These charges are at the customer’s own expense.
If you are unhappy with a product for any reason, just send it back to us (with the original packaging) and we’ll refund. You can cancel your order within 30 days without giving any reason.
To return your order, simply follow these 4 easy steps:
- Make sure that all items you return are unused and in original packaging with all labels still attached
- Include you original Order Confirmation and mark the products you wish to return
- Please state your reason for return

We will make reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any of the goods supplied.
We will make reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

You will have to bear the cost of returning the goods. Please note we do not accept packages sent COD (cash on delivery)
Items should be returned unused and in original packaging. Returns that are damaged or soiled will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused. All returns should be requested before you send your item(s) back to us to allow for easy identification and prompt processing. Unidentified returns will be returned to the sender.
We offer a flexible returns policy to make your online shopping experience easy. However, customers returning items repeatedly may be refused at our discretion.
We offer a 2 year warranty according to the Danish Sale of Gods Act (Købeloven). Our warranty is subject to defects in materials and/or fabrication. The warranty does not apply to errors or damages caused by improper use of the product.

If a refund is accepted, you must provide us with the needed bank account details, so we may reimburse the agreed upon amount. Reasonable shipping costs will also be refunded by Yume CPH. Please note we do not accept packages sent COD (cash on delivery)
Right to complain
In case you wish to complain about goods purchased from us, please contact our Customer Service, email@example.com.
You may also submit a complaint about goods purchased from us to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. It is also possible to submit a complaint online via www.forbrug.dk.
If you are a consumer residing in another EU country, you may also use the European Commission online complaints register when submitting your complaint. You may submit the complaint by using the following link: http://ec-europa.eu/odr. When submitting the complaint, you must state our email address firstname.lastname@example.org.

The above data, together with information about the items you bought, is stored for 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the information relates. After this date the information is deleted.
If you created a login for our website, your personal data and order information will not be deleted unless you inform us to do so.
Information will not be disclosed or sold to third parties, except in case of a restructuring or a full or partial sale of the company. Any disclosure in such a situation would be in compliance with the then-current personal data laws set forth.
As a customer, you are entitled to get access to registered data about you and you may object to the registration pursuant to the laws concerning the processing of personal data. Inquiries regarding this should be directed to email@example.com.
Governing law and jurisdiction
The purchase of products on www.yumecph.com is subject to Danish law. Any disputes will be settled by the Danish courts.
